CERTIFICATE POLICY (CP) AND CERTIFICATION PRACTICE STATEMENT (CPS)

Certificate Policy (CP): Document that defines the regulations and services of the CA that owns the CP, as well as the framework conditions that prevail (legal and technical).

Certificate Practice Statement (CPS): Document that defines the functionality of a CA and the PKI CA it is part of. A document that describes the implementation of the CP.
